The 12/5 session went very well! Fridays are indeed much better days for the project. 5 children participated, with another 2 joining in toward the end. I'll have exact stats later. The lesson went well and the kids seemed to pay more attention to expressions in the end, especially a couple where the expressions hinted at a punchline.
This session also saw a test run of the new CCP camera: a Canon A590 I got in sale during Black Friday. It has a higher resolution and the ability to take longer video than the Canon S3 I'd been using, though it doesn't focus quite as fast. Overall I'm pleased with it and will be making use of it in the tournament. Pictures and videos from it will be posted soon.
